Virtual International Women’s Day Bingo – Mark Milestones

International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8 to recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It’s also a moment to spotlight ongoing conversations about gender equality, inclusion, and empowerment.

The Theme for International Women’s Day 2026 is “Give to Gain.”

The Virtual International Women’s Day Bingo is an online team-building game where each participant receives a digital bingo card filled with themed prompts. A live host calls out the prompts, and players mark the corresponding items on their cards. The first player to complete a winning pattern, like a row, column, or diagonal, will call out “Bingo!” and win the round.

To host bingo for International Women’s Day virtually, select a video conferencing platform such as Google Meet or Zoom. Share themed digital bingo cards with your team that feature themed prompts and trivia on influential women in history, pop culture icons, business leaders, and tech and science trailblazers. Assign a moderator to call bingo prompts, monitor scores, and make sure everyone is engaged throughout the session. Send out meeting invites with all the necessary details so participants can join the event. Alternatively, opt for a remote team-building platform like Hooray Teams to enjoy a fully hosted experience.

Before the game begins, our host will kick things off by sharing digital bingo cards with all the participants. Each card is filled with interesting, Women’s Day-themed prompts like ‘ Watched a film directed by a woman’, or ‘Donated to a woman’s cause.’ The host will call out the prompts one by one for the participants to mark off on their cards. The goal is to create a winning pattern (straight line, diagonal, or four corners) and shout ‘Bingo!’ to score a win. Virtual bingo for team building includes three to four rounds, and in the final round, the first player to complete the entire card wins the game.
